a partnership 20 years in the making
In 2002 Deborah and Jennifer met when they were hired as half of a 4 person marketing team for CitiStreet, a joint venture between State Street and CitiGroup. They were tasked with writing, designing and developing every inch of both internal and external marketing needed for the group – everything from writing multimillion dollar proposals, to ordering (and eating) cake for sales meetings.
Placed in cubicles facing each other they found they had double the productivity (and fun) doing the work when they were able to do it together. They dreamed of owning their own agency one day, and even bought a company domain name in 2004 (always forward-thinking!).
When Deborah left CitiStreet and started work with Winn-Dixie Stores, she found a position for Jennifer to come with her. For almost 20 years they continued to work together at 3 different companies and countless freelance efforts, but were never able to make the type of impact they wanted on the landscape of marketing. That is when S&S Insights was finally brought to fruition, a Marketing Agency focused on the client’s success (not the agency’s bottom line).

Deborah is an experienced marketing, merchandising and operations strategy executive. Her 20+ years of experience in the retail, publishing and digital marketing industries include overseeing large-scale advertising campaigns, corporate strategy development and loyalty program design and execution. She has led marketing departments in Fortune 500 companies and entire corporate operations for popular digital brands and celebrities.
s number two: jennifer sicotte
Descended from a long line of entrepreneurs, Jen couldn’t wait to follow in her family’s footsteps by partnering with Deborah. With 20 years’ experience in advertising, graphic design and digital marketing, Jen’s portfolio is diverse: food, consumer products, retail, healthcare, nonprofit, and technology. When she’s not creating marketing strategies for clients, she’s teaching the next generation of marketers how to sell Girl Scout Cookies.
